Faith Kipyegon is regarded as the greatest female 1500-meter athlete in history. The Kenyan runner is the World Record Holder in both the 1500-meter and the Mile. She is the only athlete (male or female) to win three consecutive Olympic gold medals in the 1500m (2016, 2020, 2024). She is also a four-time World Champion and the first woman to win the historic 1500m/5000m double at the World Championships.
